In The First 10 Months Of This Fiscal Year, Pakistan's Textile Exports Grew By 2% Over The Same Period Last Year.

Pakistan's national daily reported on June 25th that according to the latest data released by the Central Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the export of Pakistan textiles increased from US $11 billion 176 million in the same period last year to US $11 billion 419 million in the first 10 months of this fiscal year, an increase of 2.17% over the same period last year. Exports of clothing accessories and knitted apparel accessories increased by 11.87% to 2 billion 510 million US dollars over the same period. Meanwhile, according to Pakistan's National Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the trade deficit in the first 11 months of this fiscal year dropped from $33 billion 812 million last year to 29 billion 207 million US dollars, down 13.62% from the same period last year. Imports dropped from 50 billion 474 million US dollars last year to 50 billion 474 million US dollars, down 8.47% from the same period last year.
